With MTL NewTech, La Ruche and Fundica, the Montreal's Quartier de l’Innovation is partnering with the 2018 Cooperathon’s Impact Startup Challenge, a cooperation marathon designed and created by Desjardins that will run from September 26th to November 1st, 2018.
For a second year in a row, Cooperathon is proud to announce the Impact Startup Track: a path dedicated to impact startups wishing to develop their business and further explore their potential impact on society. The QI is proud to make its network available to the participants to generate potential business opportunities and assist in the logistic of the Impact Startup Track.
Register for a chance to be part of the 12 startups selected to pitch in front of an expert jury and participants during the Cooperathon Kick-Off on September 26th. At the end of the night, the jury will choose the 5 startups who will be competing in the Impact Startup Track.
About the Coopérathon :
The Cooperathon enables you to create a startup driving social change around 4 themes: Finance, Health, Education and Energy/Environment. It’s 25 days of coaching with $100,000 in prizes to be won. A competition for citizens who want to have a positive impact on their community.
During Cooperathon’s 25 day program, entrepreneurs, experts, professionals and engaged citizens from all horizons meet up to develop socially responsible projects.
Teams grow thanks to the involvement of community, academic and industrial partners who accompany the participants through the development of their project, from idea to prototype. Imagined by the Mouvement Desjardins, first financial cooperative in Canada, the Cooperathon is a competition for all who wish to explore, experiment and create for their community.
